The Roy Weber Memorial Study Group
(formerly "The 3¢ 1851-61 Study Group")

February 23, 2008. After a two year respite, the Group reconvened at the at the New York Collector's Club. And a foot of snow could not prevent those flying in from the mid-west and west-coast from attending. It was a lively day of stamping, discussion, and examination of new material. The day ended with a fine meal at a nearby restaurant. The Group is looking forward to the next meeting.

In attendance were Wade Saadi, Larry Hunt, Gary Granzow, Rob Lund, Dick Celler, Harvey Mirsky, Randy Schwartz, Charles Temple and Michael Perlman. Not shown but attending: Frank Mandel. Unable to attend: Jim Allen, Dr. Bill Amonette, John Barwis, Dr. Charles J. DiComo, Mark Friedman, Bob Hegland, John Kellerman, Tim McCree, Jim Peterson, George Tyson, and Greg Weber.

January 2006 at the New York Collector's Club. This meeting took place under a somber setting, with the passing of W. Wilson Hulme only a few weeks earlier. A decision was made by all in attendance to name this gathering in remembrance of Roy P. Weber, who sadly passed in December of 2005. After much stamping, discussion, examination of new material, reflection on our departed friends, we finished off the day with a fine Italian dinner at a nearby restaurant.

In attendance were Wade E. Saadi, Larry Hunt, Gary Granzow, Rob Lund, George Tyson, Frank Mandel, Randy Schwartz and Dr. Charles J. DiComo. Unable to attend: Dick Celler, Harvey Mirsky, Mark Friedman and Greg Weber (Roy's son).
