![]() Founded in 1886, the APS is the largest, non-profit Society in the world in its 2nd century of service to stamp collectors & postal historians
The Carriers & Locals Society
The Collectors Club of N.Y. Founded in NY City in the Summer of 1896 as a way to "gather... all the Societies, all the Auctions & all the Philatelic Interests of the City"
Meets the second Friday of every month, at a member's home for a "light dinner," philatelic banter, followed by presentation and discussion of a topic usually of US classic interest. Additionally, they meet every year at NAPEX and welcome all attending members to join us for no host cocktails, dinner, and participation in our meeting at the McLean Hilton - the site for NAPEX. Subjects reflect member interests; consequently, they have included Exhibiting, Show & Tell, the Washington - Franklin's, Restoration & Preservation, and similar topics in their agenda.
Meetings are held at the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library, 2038 So. Pontiac Way, Denver CO 80224 at dates and times to be announced. Contact Stephen B. Pacetti for the details.
Meetings held 2 or 3 times a year: Sandical; Summer Show (if one); SESCAL; Christmas Party.
