The Chronicle is Awarded the CG International Philatelic Promotion Award
November 6, 2014… The U.S. Philatelic Classics Society is pleased to be awarded First Prize in the annual CG International Philatelic Promotion Award by Auktionshaus Christoph Gärtner. The award was presented on October 24 at the Internationale Briefmarken-Borse Sindelfingen (Germany) show.
The award is given annually to either a group, society, club, association or publisher that “promotes the presentation of philatelic knowledge by supporting new publications” in either print or digital format. A panel of judges chose the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society over numerous other international publications including some of the philatelic world’s finest academic journals and literature.
This highly sought after award highlights The Chronicle and its cutting edge research by leading philatelists.
