The USPCS invites all members to attend the Sarasota National Stamp Exhibition this January, where we will be a featured society. Along with the Annual Membership Meeting, the USPCS will host several presentations and a membership dinner.
Sarasota National Stamp Expo
The Sarasota National Stamp Exhibition will be held in the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium from January 21st to 23rd, 2022. The show is open from 10:00 to 5:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 to 3:00 on Sunday. See the exhibit website for additional information and directions.
Exhibits at the show are currently full, but they are currently still accepting entries for the Literature Exhibition.

2:00 PM | Introduction to the Many Aspects of Sanitary Fair Collecting by Mike Plett Sanitary Fairs were a Northern response to the deprivation experienced by soldiers in the Civil War. Many issued stamps making the topic attractive to stamp collectors. But there is much more that fits under its umbrella. Sanitary Fair collecting includes ephemera, postal history of the fairs, Sanitary Commission postal history, soldier’s mail, Christian Commission and other benevolent societies’ mail. This talk will show the breadth of the topic for collectors. | Balcony |
